You do not have to leave plain kombucha for a second ferment, but I think you can bottle it up and try to create some carbonization. I haven&#039;t done that before, we always preferred the fruit flavors. If it did not have much fizz, it may have needed to be left longer. The temperature may have not been warm enough for the length of time you left it for it&#039;s second ferment.]]></description>

Ohh, Pineapple, that&#039;s a good idea! I just opened a can of that and have some left over. I&#039;ll have to give that one a try!
